Auctions of sporting goods

The Sport department was created in 2023. It offers catalogued sales (indoor, online and live), with a selection of objects and sports equipment that have all been used in official competitions: shirts worn and/or signed, shorts, balls, tracksuits, jackets, overalls, shoes, gloves, rackets and all other objects used in competitive sport.

Official awards such as trophies, medals and diplomas are also on display. Finally, the sports department auctions feature items with a heritage and historical dimension, such as Olympic torches, official or brand posters, winners' medals, etc.

Thematic collectibles such as Panini albums, mascots, match tickets and programmes are also on show!

Located in Paris on rue de la Grange Batelière, just a stone's throw from the Hôtel Drouot, our experts and auctioneers bring to bear their expertise and the quality of their work. The department is headed by Alexis Jacquemard, with the watchful eye of Jean-Marc Leynet, a leading sports expert for 30 years.

The sports auction calendar:

To sell at the best price and satisfy every buyer, the auctions are divided into several events:

  • Catalogued auctions dedicated to a particular sport: football, rugby, cycling, the Olympics or a particular event: Olympic Games or omnisport. These sales can also bring together several disciplines in a single specific category, such as a sale of autographed photos of the biggest names: Usain Bolt, Diego Maradona, Zinedine Zidane... Or a sale of sports shirts worn by champions such as Jacques Anquetil or Christophe Dugarry during the 1998 World Cup.

  • Online auctions showcase sports memorabilia at affordable prices. They are ideal for enthusiasts and allow your items to be presented in an attractive way. These sales take place on the Internet. They give you unlimited access to the catalogue and auctions from the four corners of the world.

  • So Unique Auctions: Do you own an exceptional, one-off item? A unique, exceptional, rare item of great value is presented alone to the bidders.

Selling works at all prices: expertise and estimation.

The Sport department relies on rigorous expert appraisals to justify precise estimates. The works are certified by our specialist and authenticated thanks to irreproachable traceability.

At the heart of Sport auctions, collections are the focus of special attention to highlight the emotions of collectors and sports enthusiasts. The catalogues lend themselves to the game by conveying the collector's spirit. The collection can bear the collector's name, or remain anonymous. Don't hesitate to entrust us with the sale of your collection of sports shirts or autographs!

The department's sales achieve excellent results, with more than 80% of lots going for top price.
